^ SECTION 1 HOUSEKEEPING NC II QUALIFICATION




The HOUSEKEEPING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare guest rooms, clean premises and equipment, laundry linen and guest clothes, provide housekeeping services and provide valet services to hotels, motels, clubs, hospitals, resorts, dormitories and luxury liners.


This Qualification is packaged from the competency map of the ^ Tourism Sector (Hotel and Restaurant) as shown in Annex A


The Units of Competency comprising this Qualification include the following:

UNIT DESCRIPTOR : This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to gather, interpret and convey information in response to workplace requirements.
